Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-9 | 1/12 th Scale | Part 27 – Rear Pilot Armor

 

Armor plates glued to the seat rails.
I painted these steel plates manufactured
by Krupp in red oxide primer.

Dry fitting of the subassembly
into the fuselage.

I joind the seat rails and the rear
upper decking.  I airbrushed
these parts with RLM 66.

I made a template for the right side console
from MDF.

Final adjustments werde done by
adding styrene strips to make
for a perfect fit.
